The most loving sweet dish in winter is Carrot Halwa. Every age group enjoys this dish too much. This is mouth watering sweet dish and can be cooked and stored easily at home. You can have it whenever you like.
Ingredients for Gajar Ka Halwa:
Red
carrot - 01 kg,
Milk - 01 kg,
Sugar - 250 grams,
Mava or khoya 250 grams,
Pure ghee 02 - table spoon,
Cashew - 01 table spoon,
Almond - 01 table spoon (chopped),
Rasins - 20-25,
Cardamom - 5-6 (crushed).

How to Make Gajar Ka Halwa:
First of all pealoff the carrots and wash it. Now grate the carrots and keep aside.
Take a heavy bottom kadhai, put one spoon pure ghee and fry the mava till it gets light pink.
Take out the mava in a pot and in the same kadhai put grated carrots and milk. Cook and stir continously.
When milk looks 1/2 of the privious quantity add sugar also. Stir and cook for 10-15 minuits.
When the mixture gets dry, add more pure ghee, cashew rasins and fried mava. Cook it for 2-3 minuits. Add crushed cardamom, mixit well and turn off the gas.
Mouth watering gajar halwa is ready now. Serve it by garnishing almonds flanks. You can store it also in the refrigirator.
