Chaat’ sounds quite yummy, exiting and delicious. Ummaa! Yes i know, it is mouth watering food. On ‘Yummy Recipes’ time to time we are sharing such type of Chaat Recipe. Because it is always demanding. Today we are going to share spicy Aloo Tikki Chaat Recipe. I hope you will like it. 


Aloo Tikki Chaat Recipe - How To Make Aloo Tikki Chaat

Ingredients for Aloo Tikki Chaat:

Potato - 500 gram (boiled and peeled), 
Curd - 01 cup (add sugar 4-5 tsp and whipped), 
Onion (optional) - 01 (finely chopped),
Corn flour - 01 tbsp, 
Black salt - 01 tsp, 
Red chilli powder - 01 tsp, 
Roasted cumin powder - 01 tsp, 
Green chilli - 3-4 (finely chopped), 
Green coriander - 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped). 
Green chutney - 1/2 cup, 
Salt to taste.

How to Make Aloo Tikki Chaat:

First of all grate the boil potatoes, add corn flour and one tsp of salt. Mix it properly; divide the potato mix in 12- 14 equal portions.

Now give them a ball shape and press slightly to give them patty shape. Repeat the same to remaining potato balls.

Here we will not shallow fry the patty’s. Take a nonstick pan, pour oil for deep frying the Aloo Tikki.

When the oil get enough hot fry 3 or more patty together (depending on the pan size). It will not brake in the oil because corn flour give them binding.

When the tikki become golden brown, take out from the pan and keep on kitchen paper. Repeat the same for remaining patty.

Now do the plating, put one or two tikki in a serving plate, curd, green chutney, brown chutney and a pinch of chat masala.

Garnish with green chilli, onion and coriander. Now serve piping hot spicy Aloo Tikki Chaat.
